L. Denice Randle graduated from Pierce College and was soon after awarded the Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative, which led her to Whitworth University as a change agent with a deep commitment to cross-cultural communication, social justice and asset-based community development.

At Whitworth, she earned a B.A. in English Language Arts and one year later, she earned a Masters degree in Education with a teaching certificate from Pacific Lutheran University. Prior to Summit Denice taught and prepared students for college readiness in the greater Tacoma area.

She presently serves as the Assistant Principal at Summit Public Schools: Sierra in Seattle, WA where she works alongside a team of highly qualified teachers to ensure 100 percent of students graduate high school and enroll in 4-year colleges. Outside of work, Denice serves as a Board of Trustee at her alma mater, Whitworth University.
